GANG ACTIVITIES & GENTRIFICATION As cited in previous posts, Pasaterra Capital comprised of partners Tim Trout of Paladin Equity and Mandy Wang of ZZ Fashion, purchased numerous properties within the city of Pasadena in areas designated by the city as lower socio-economic neighborhoods. The reality is, these are not inexpensive neighborhoods to live in and residents include families, retirees living on fixed incomes, minorities, professionals, and young and old persons.  Pasaterra obtained permits through the city of Pasadena's City Planning Department to buy properties and gentrify some of the city's less affluent neighborhoods which of course, requires purging long time residents from the properties it bought, refurbishing units, and afterwards substantially increasing the amounts of monthly rents. PASATERRA CAPITAL AND HELIX REAL ESTATE MANAGENT'S LOW BROW TACTICS IS IT TIME TO SUE? Today, September 15, 2022, Helix Real Estate Management's onsite contractors working on vacant units located at 435 N. Euclid Avenue in Pasadena, broke down the door of an apartment whose tenant had previously given notice and was scheduled to leave by midnight today. Some of the tenant's property remained in the unit. The breaking and entering into his unit also came before a final walk through had been performed and the keys to his unit returned to Helix.  The tenant called the police and was told this constitutues a civil matter. Helix's President Tobin Koziol, was called by workers immediately after they realized photographs of the damages were taken by other tenants.  This is the latest in a long list of abuses perpetrated by Pasaterra and it's division, Helix. A PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM MADE UP OF A CONGLOMERATION OF LLC's IS TRAMPLING ON TENANT RIGHTS & TAKING THEIR HOMES CONNECTING THE DOTS Pasadena, home of the Tournament of Roses parade and once known as an enclave of the elite, is currently the site of a battle pitting a large conglomerate operating under a myriad of LLCs and corporate headings against residents of the city. Permits issued by Pasadena's City Planning department has enabled the purchase of numerous properties throughout the city by a residential developer using the pretext of gentrifying neighborhoods within the city.
